To charm the listeners,

It turns monotonous. 

The drum makes crack and clap

To charm the listeners,

The tabla makes bass and stroke

To charm the listeners,

But they don't listen long, as

It turns monotonous. 

The guitar makes woogah-woogah

To charm the listeners,

But they don't listen long, as

It turns monotonous. 

The cymbals make clang and crash

To charm the listeners,

But they don't listen long, as

It turns monotonous...

Each one wants to be a solo charmer

But turns charmless,

And does feel embarrassed, alone

And soundless.

The harmony, then, groups them all

To play a chorus,

Then they find they're honored with

Rush of listeners.
