Before birth, child dies,

Son dies before the dying old parents,

A day after marriage, husband dies,

But life goes on.

Your kith and kin betray you,

But life goes on;

Shocks and insults pound you,

But life goes on.

Accidents bag death after death,

But life goes on;

Bombs blow our body into pieces,

But life goes on.

Through wars, murders, riots, ruins,

Life goes on;

And droughts,floods, storms, quakes,

But life goes on.

Through pains, poverty, afflictions,

Life goes on;

Through falls, fractures, traumas,

Life goes on.

Through rises, falls, drags, pushes,

Life goes on;

With tears, smiles, doubts, defiance,

Life goes on.

Limping, hopping, walking, running,

Life goes on;

Goes on, goes on, goes on, goes on,
