Love Lives On
One was beat'n to death, to death one shot,
For they did love each other; and for love
One was burnt to death, and one's head got
Cut off no ruth... Thus did perish each dove;
And does, for love's protective cloak's too weak
To withstand the deadly strikes of hate.
Yet lovers bend not, neither do they seek
A favor, they do know their love won't waste
Away by any force of the mundane earth,
For love resides in timeless transcendence
And eternally through each death and birth,
As foes are doom'd to hell by impermanence.
Love that is true dies not in any condition;
Through obstacles, woes, self-sacrifices, it lives on.
Through obstacles, woes, self-sacrifices, it lives on.
